Together we can..
Your support allows us to constantly invest so that our facilities, equipment and services are of the highest quality – delivering comfort, dignity and the best possible care for patients and residents.
It is thanks to the on-going and generous support we receive from the public and companies that we can provide the incredibly high levels of care that we do.
However as people are living longer and have more complex healthcare needs, we must provide even more specialist facilities and services of the highest quality to meet these critical requirements and growing demands.
That is why our supporters are our lifeline as we need to fundraise over €5.5 million every single year to support our work on our sites in Harold’s Cross, Blackrock & Wicklow and the evolution of our community based services.

Just read Peter Milton Heads story. A hospice patient in Harolds Cross Hospice, Peter, is living with a life limiting illness, and wishes to support our Light Up A Life appeal.
Thanks to the kindness of all who give to campaigns like Light Up A Life, we were able to completely refurbish the Hydrotherapy Pool in Harold’s Cross Hospice.
The benefits of the pool are wonderful and include rehabilitation, pain relief, improved flexibility, and easing muscle spasm.
Our care isn’t just about medical care. It’s social, cultural and spiritual too.
Anna Gaynor House is a purpose-built eighty-nine bedded residential unit providing a safe and comfortable living environment to those with high dependencies who require 24-hour nursing care. All residents benefit from working with a multidisciplinary team, regular exercise classes and multisensory work such as music and art therapy etc.
Since opening its doors in 2003, Blackrock Hospice has provided vital palliative care services that have helped tens of thousands of patients and their families.
Since it’s refurbishment in 2022, the grounds and gardens in Blackrock Hospice have been transformed. It is thanks to your ongoing generosity we continue to improve and develop the beautiful hospice garden for patients and their families.
At Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services, we’re really focused on patient-centred care and seeing people as individuals.
When they come to Wicklow Hospice, people are amazed at the spaciousness of the en-suite rooms, which all open onto a veranda.
Recently the team in Wicklow Hospice got busy transforming the Magheramore sitting room into an even cosier and homelier space.
Thanks to donations from campaigns like Light Up A Life, we were able to add a reading nook with seating and bookshelves, a communal jigsaw table for patients and families and new children’s toys and games.
