Remembrance Ceremony

We all enjoyed a very moving Light Up A Life Christmas concert and Remembrance ceremony in the beautiful grounds of Harold’s Cross Hospice on Sunday December 7th 2025.

A perfect way to begin Christmas festivities and celebrating and honouring your precious memories of someone dear to you. Knowing, at the same time, that you’re supporting such vital care and services.

Our ever-charming MC Ian Dempsey joined us for his 15th year with our special guest  the renowned singer, songwriter and musician, Eleanor McEvoy. Eleanor is one of Ireland’s most celebrated and loved musicians, with an extraordinary career that includes the legendary hit album “A Woman’s Heart”.

As the official start to the Christmas season for many, it really is an occasion to remember, with many marvellous musical acts performing songs guaranteed to get you feeling festive.

Toast the season with hot apple punch, soup and mince pies or simply soak up the atmosphere. The highlight of the evening is the lighting of our magnificent Light Up A Life Christmas tree.

Every year, thousands of people sponsor beautiful lights in the name of their friends or loved ones who have died. It is a wonderful way to pay tribute to those who meant and still mean so much to us.
